This year’s Tyre Safety Month is set to be bigger and better than ever before, with the CJAM team in full flow, raising awareness of the annual campaign through multiple PR and marketing channels. The theme of this year’s campaign, which aims to prompt motorists around the country into taking action on tyre safety, is ‘Time for a change?’. Key areas of focus will include the benefits of winter tyres, as well as the importance of regularly checking tyre air pressure, condition and tread depth.
A steady stream of national, regional and consumer media activity will take place throughout October, while garages, tyre fitters and retailers around the country have already been fully encouraged to support the campaign by offering free tyre safety checks. CJAM has created a wealth of striking promotional material to help stakeholders get behind the campaign, including a stunning winter tyre film on ice, posters, leaflets, web banners, DVDs, animations and a dynamic infographic. New for 2012, the CJAM team has also developed a Facebook app to allow motorists to show their commitment to checking their tyres online.
