Mark Newey Method
Psychotherapist Mark Newey has developed a unique method to beat stress, anxiety and depression. CJAM Group was tasked with launching Mark’s seminars and online programme, initially targeting Cambridge, with regional and national roll-out to follow.
Promotion of the Mark Newey Method began with the creation of a new website to encapsulate Mark’s approach to treating mental health, his seminar dates and the online programme.
The ‘Discover a Newey You’ campaign created four executions for specific audiences, printed as posters and flyers distributed to strategic locations around the city including at the station and business parks. The creative was also used to support social media on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Video testimonials added further credence to the proposition.
On World Mental Health Day, an ‘everyman’ event invited people to join in the conversation about mental health from a pop-up clinic, complete with branded banners and materials.
The activity resonated with the media and generated a six-minute interview on Anglia News, a lengthy interview on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, a further interview with Cambridge 105 radio, plus coverage in local papers.
Mark has returned to BBC Radio Cambridgeshire to talk about stress and a Frisbee Flingalong to mark National Stress Awareness Day encouraged people away from their desks to de-stress for half an hour, featuring on Heart Radio and local press.
“‘Talk about going the extra mile: CJAM go an extra hundred miles! Working with them is like having your own marketing department but with knowledge and experience way beyond what you’d normally get. They are all so emotionally committed to their clients and have completely thrown themselves into their work.
“They’ve been with me throwing frisbees on Parker’s Piece in Cambridge, handing out leaflets in Cambridge, supported me in giving seminars, all the way through to producing amazingly creative posters, leaflets and website as well as getting me onto Anglia TV all in 5 months.
“Sorry to gush, but I can’t speak highly enough of them!”
