Widford Lodge

The challenge

Widford Lodge is a small independent preparatory school in Chelmsford for children aged between 2 ½ and 11 years.

CJAM Group was asked to create a new website which would clearly convey the traditional values of Widford Lodge reflecting the happy atmosphere and success of the school. Ease of navigation and accessibility were key considerations for the key audiences of existing and prospective parents.

The work

Our digital team conceived a design that capitalises on engaging images which capture every aspect of school life across all age groups. The photography, commissioned and art-directed by CJAM, is accompanied by new copy written following in-depth research and interviews with teachers, support staff, pupils and parents.

A user-friendly website structure allows every page to be easily found, whether the visitor is a prospective parent looking for information on facilities or an existing parent wanting to know the latest news or sports fixture dates.

The results

Following a successful launch, Widford Lodge returned to CJAM to ask for help promoting an upcoming Open Day. With only ten days to go, CJAM designed, drafted and scheduled a highly targeted Facebook Campaign resulting in the highest attendance to an Open Day on record.
