CJAM has just produced a compelling new ‘Check your pressure’ song for tyre safety organisation TyreSafe. The song, complete with a video, is being posted to TyreSafe’s YouTube channel today and is intended to help raise awareness of the importance of correct tyre pressure among motorists.
The CJAM team managed the creative and production process from start to finish, completing the job in just seven days. Our own Managing Director, Christine Joyce, took an active role, even making a guest appearance in the video.
“Creating TyreSafe’s first ever song was an exciting challenge and we thoroughly enjoyed managing this project,” explains Joyce. “The ‘Check your pressure’ song will provide a compelling way for motorists to understand the benefits of inflating their tyres correctly. The song is one of a range of innovative marketing tactics we’re using to engage people with this year’s Tyre Safety Month.”
With correct tyre pressures fundamental to motorists’ safety on the road, the new TyreSafe song seeks to explain the economical and environmental benefits of keeping tyres correctly inflated. It emphasises lower fuel bills, reduced running costs and fewer CO2 emissions as key reasons for car owners to check their tyre pressure once a month.
CJAM managed the song-writing, recording, filming and post-production editing of the song and video, which shows members of the tyre trade actively singing along in a pristine tyre workshop environment.
Tyre Safety Month 2013 takes place in October. The CJAM team organises the month-long campaign each year, and is creating numerous marketing materials to help garages share TyreSafe’s important tyre safety messages with motorists.
For more information on last year’s campaign, see our 2012 Tyre Safety Month case study. We achieved more than £190,000 in media coverage and generated a 10% increase in web traffic to the TyreSafe website versus the 2011 campaign. We also saw an exemplary level of interest from police forces, fire services and local councils around the country.
We’re looking forward to even better results this year!
