It’s been a busy year for the CJAM Group. We’ve continued to grow, winning new clients and expanding our team. We’ve created high impact marketing campaigns, travelled the world and held events in castles and skyscrapers. In our latest infographic , we wanted to share a snapshot of what we’ve been up to as we look back on a year packed with fast-paced, creative thinking, hard work and much laughter along the way.
“2014 has been a great year for CJAM and I’d like to thank all the team for their energy and enthusiasm,” says Managing Director Christine Joyce. “We hope you enjoy this insight into some of the highlights of our year and the results we’re delivering for our growing portfolio of clients.”
We had a great time organising the ‘Apollo on Tour’ events earlier this year for tyre manufacturer Apollo Vredestein. With the company set to expand further in the UK, we arranged three events at the Manchester United ground, the City’s Gherkin and Edinburgh Castle for tyre retailers and distributors, even turning the castle purple to reflect Apollo’s corporate colours!
We’ve won six new clients, employed four new team members, and even taken on our very own apprentice. Our new clients include the Material Handling Engineers Association, the European Association of Communications in Healthcare, and the Association of Power Generators. And we haven’t wasted any time in promoting them. We organised a successful conference for MHEA, complete with glittering gala dinner, and have since been asked to launch a large trade event and exhibition in Harrogate next year.
In our seventh year of working for tyre safety organisation TyreSafe, we’ve broken new ground by achieving more than £1m equivalent advertising value through multi-channel marketing campaigns. This year’s flagship Tyre Safety Month campaign saw us generate more interest than ever in the campaign’s important safety messages. In particular, we created a sophisticated aquaplaning film demonstrating the hazards of driving in the wet and explaining the benefits of correct tread depth using a clever animation. We managed the production of the film from start to finish and adapted it for seven different TyreSafe members.
We also held tailored sales incentive trips for clients’ teams in Spain, Amsterdam and New York, creating an exciting itinerary of events, booking all accommodation and providing on-the-ground support throughout the trip. Stuart Jackson, UK Managing Director of Apollo Vredestein, thanked us for an expertly delivered, highly memorable New York event.
E-marketing has long been a real strength for CJAM, and in 2014 we issued 300 e-newsletters and developed five new websites, along with multiple apps. Overall, we launched ten marketing campaigns and issued more than 500,000 campaign materials, the majority for this year’s Tyre Safety Month.
It’s always a pleasure to be recognised for our work. This year, we’ve been nominated for four business awards in our home county of Essex, two for marketing and two for our Managing Director Christine Joyce. Keep your fingers crossed for us this Friday at the 2014 Colchester Business Awards!
It’s been a particularly busy year for Christine, with 296 meetings – nearly one for every day of the year. Two of these meetings took place at the Houses of Parliament, where Christine has presented to MPs on the importance of tyre safety. She is increasingly becoming known as a tyre safety champion for her work with TyreSafe and collaborative work with the Highways Agency.
On a lighter note, Courtney baked five birthday cakes and more than 100 cup cakes, Lisa ran 1,000 miles, Jo herded 112 cattle on her farm and the whole team bought 83 pairs of shoes! We also drank 2,900 cups of tea!
The whole CJAM team wishes you all the best for the festive season as we look forward to a bright 2015!
