Are you a strong copywriter with experience of PR and marketing, looking for a part-time role in the Colchester area? CJAM Group has an exciting vacancy for a Communications Manager with the right skills and necessary can-do attitude.
Our Communications Manager will be providing support and insight as well as hands-on delivery of creative solutions for both CJAM and its diverse portfolio of clients three days a week. Day-to-day you will be working across a number of accounts, creating unique content of the highest calibre and acting as a central hub for copywriting and content, both traditional and digital.
Among the post’s many responsibilities will be researching news stories, writing press releases and blogs, copywriting for brochures, newsletters and posters, drafting website content as well as creating social media plans and posts.
The successful candidate for the Communications Manager position will be able to demonstrate their ability to write engaging content in a variety of tones and styles suitable for the full range of channels. They should also have experience of working with journalists from local, regional, national and trade media with the ability to sell-in news stories and features.
You’ll be working closely with marketing colleagues, so the ability to think creatively is a must.
